Today I changed position of my desks at my room , just move them 4 meters but took 2 hours to move lots of cables ! from my LAN Switch to UPS , printer , speakers , phone , wireless internet connection and ..... . I don't know how to reduce this amount of cables !

I have a problem with my 2 network adapters , After random time my computer is disconnecting from internet without any notification . I think it has a problem with DHCP server of my ISP . I have a wireless internet connection using ethernet . I have to set my network adapter to get its IP and DNS address from ISP's DHCP server . If I use this command ipconfig /renew everything restarts and network adapter can get new IP .

So , I made a batch file and saved it in c: partition , in that batch file I have to commands , ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew . Also I made a windows service to ping 172.18.8.1 (ISP's gateway) every 40 second , If ping failed 3 times sequentially , my windows service calls the batch file and restart network settings . It is working good !

I want a main board and graphic cards like this !! As I spend many hours on games I need a better computer for that ! currently I am using P4 3GHz , GeForce 6600 , 1GB RAM and this pc is too slow for many games .

In Iran after Islamic revolution , governments tried to change everything , even the historical flag of Iran . 1 month ago some people came to our street to change the electricity cable , but they just corrupt everything ! so each night , when usage increased 1 or all 3 phases disconnected . Perhaps you know the impact of this type of shutdown (oh shit ! it is down ! means shutdown ) on the computer . So I got an UPS from Faratel.com . They are best at this field in Iran , I bought a simple , small UPS about $180 . Everything seems ok now !

Internet connection status in Iran is changing . One year ago the only connection I could use at home was dialup but now except ADSL (at some sections of Tehran) I can use IPWireless technology . Datak began the shipment of its new kind of CPEs .

This is a very small and nice (!) wireless modem and can be connected to USB port . But its sensitivity is less than the old one . This new modem is completely portable , I can use it in  my car ! but the old one uses 20v so it needs power adapter .

Ali Rastegar , one my old friends bought an iMac G5 around $2500 . It is too expensive comparing to my current PC (Intel P4 3GHz , 1GB RAM , gForce 6600 , 100GB HDD , 17" LG LCD … ) which is near $1200 , But iMac is very very very nice ! I like it ! . The problem is I am a software developer using MS technologies but I can not use them on Mac . also we have another problem here in Iran , softwares for Mac are not available like softwares for Windows .

I found a source code to get video from webcam and show it in a picturebox , but how can I stream it over network  ? I want to use that video in other Windows apps .

I had a solution but I didn't try it , I can start a dll which is running over another machine by remoting , I can use a shared picturebox as a property in that dll , fill that picturebox by webcam machine and show it by other clients , I wish every day had more than 24 hours for geeks ! I have to test this method .

Is it good to use your real identity over internet ?

I think the answer is depend on your country and your social rules . Here in Iran it seems to be a problem , I wish I never started my weblog over this domain ! being invisible in Iran is a good idea ! I closed my account at Orkut and other social networking sites .
